Insektenprotein verfügt über ein hervorragendes Aminosäurenverhältnis und ist aus ernährungsphysiologischer und gesundheitlicher Sicht anderen tierischen Proteinquellen - mit einer biologischen Wertigkeit von 85% - mehr als gleichwertig. Nicht nur gut für den Hund, sondern auch klimafreundlich und gut für die Umwelt!
Kartoffel als Kohlenhydratquelle wird aufgrund der steigenden Anzahl von Hunden mit Getreide- und Glutenunverträglichkeit immer beliebter. Die Kartoffel enthält wenig Fett und eine bedeutende Menge an Mineralstoffen, Spurenelementen und Vitaminen. Der hohe Anteil an Stärke und Ballaststoffen machen die Kartoffel ernährungsphysiologisch sehr wertvoll.
Erbsen sind sehr proteinreich und dabei extrem kalorienarm. Sie enthalten viele wichtige Vitamine und Mineralstoffe wie z.B. B-Vitamine und Vitamin E, Beta-Carotin, Kalzium, Magnesium und Eisen.
Johannisbrot enthält Gerb- und Schleimstoffe und besitzt zudem antibakterielle Eigenschaften. Mark und Samen sehr ballaststoffreich, enthalten reichlich Vitamin A, B, Kalzium und Eisen.
Mungobohnen sind ein richtiges Superfood. Die Bohnen sind reich an pflanzlichen Proteinen und Ballaststoffen und dabei bekömmlicher und leichter verdaulich als andere Hülsenfrüchte. Sie enthalten B-Vitamine, Vitamin A, Eisen und Magnesium und andere Mineralstoffe.
