Poultry is one of the most easily digestible and rather low-fat types of meat. Most dogs, even the more finicky ones, will happily accept chicken as a source of meat. Chicken has a very high biological value and also contains iron and many vitamins.
Due to the increasing number of dogs with gluten intolerance, the use of potato as a carbohydrate source is becoming more popular. The potato contains little fat and a significant amount of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. The high proportion of starch and dietary fibre make the potato nutritionally very valuable.
