For additional protection against plaque, we have developed the first "mouth rinse" for dogs in the form of a gel. The bogadent® HYDRO-GEL is applied to the teeth and gums directly after cleaning. There, the gel inhibits bacterial growth and reduces the formation of plaque and tartar. It is safe to swallow the gel.

How do you know that your pet is suffering from dental problems?
Bad breath is often the first sign. This can be caused by food. If the bad breath persists despite a change of food, the cause is often an inflammation of the gums. Check your dog's teeth regularly by carefully lifting the lips. Plaque and tartar are increasingly deposited on the back molars and canines. If the gum line is reddened and already bleeds when touched, the inflammation is advanced and a visit to the vet is highly recommended.

How can you protect your pet from dental problems?
Chewing snacks and chews help to remove plaque. But this alone is not enough! Thorough and efficient cleaning of the teeth is only possible with a toothbrush or finger brush. Because, just like for us humans, daily brushing of your dog's teeth is the most important basis for a healthy set of teeth.
