We are a young team and sell products that we like ourselves.

Howlong has Optamit been around?
Optamit GmbH was founded in Cologne in 2005.

Who can buy from you?
We sell exclusively to commercial customers. We do not sell to end customers. End customers buy our products from retailers.

What exactly do you do?
We are importers and distributors of brands that offer high-quality products.
Not only the products themselves are important to us, but also the manufacturers behind them.
We only work with manufacturers who, like us, are interested in a long-term relationship with their retail customers.

How come you sell products for such different industries?
We originally come from the outdoor sector.
Some of the brands we represent also offer products for other sectors. We thought it was a good idea and did it that way.
It went well, and over time our product range has expanded to other sectors. 
Today, specialised sales and service teams take care of the various channels.

What do you enjoy most?
Bringing cool brands with cool products to the market and seeing them grow!
