Hurtta Spare Elastic replacement elastic band - for new elasticity and long-lasting enjoyment of your Hurtta product

Over time, the elasticated rubber bands in your Hurtta product can wear out or fray - especially with frequent use and heavy wear. To avoid having to replace your favourite coat or accessory straight away, Hurtta offers you the perfect solution: a practical replacement elastic band for easy repairs.

The elasticated strap fits the Expedition Pack ECO, Expedition Belt ECO, Cooling Wrap or Mudventure Coat - simply choose the right length according to the size of your product.

Replacement is straightforward: You can either leave a few centimetres of the old strap on the product, cut off the rest and sew the new elastic directly to it - before doing so, you should carefully seal the cut end with a lighter to prevent fraying. Alternatively, cut open the original seam and sew the new strap back on in the same place.

For a particularly neat result, you can also ask your trusted tailor for help. By replacing it, you are not only extending the life of your favourite product - you are also making a conscious decision for sustainability and reducing your carbon footprint. Small repair, big impact!
