PLAQUE-STOP STICKS are a simple and tasty solution to support your dog's dental care .

Specially selected algae plus cranberry and minerals help to reduce tartar build-up - all in the form of tasty cowhide chews. The active ingredients plus the abrasive effect thanks to the rawhide structure help to keep teeth and gums healthy and ensure fresh breath- also thanks to the chlorophyll it contains. The dog's chewing muscles are also strengthened.

Zahnstein

Der gefürchtete Zahnstein entsteht durch Futterreste, die sich an den Zähnen und in den Zahnzwischenräumen festsetzen. Dadurch bildet sich Zahnbelag (Plaque), der sich durch Mineralien im Speichel mit der Zeit verhärtet und damit den unliebsamen Zahnstein bildet. Dieser wiederum löst in weiterer Folge Zahnfleischentzündungen und Zahnfleischschwund aus, was im schlimmsten Fall zum Zahnverlust führen kann.

Ergänzungsfuttermittel

Ergänzungsfuttermittel sind laut Futtermittelverordnung Mischfutter mit mindestens zwei Komponenten. Sie werden zusätzlich zu einem Alleinfuttermittel verabreicht und weisen oft einen erhöhten Anteil an Vitaminen, Mineralstoffen oder Spurenelementen auf. Eine alleinige Fütterung wäre nicht bedarfsdeckend.
