General nutritional findings:
Vitamin E:
protects the cell membranes as an "antioxidant" against destruction by aggressive harmful substances and thus maintains the structural functionality and performance of the heart muscles even under the highest stress. In addition, vitamin E improves the oxygen supply and utilisation in the muscles and thus considerably increases the performance of the heart.
Selenium:
together with vitamin E protects the cell membranes from damaging oxygen compounds and is indispensable for the functioning of the heart muscles.
L-carnitine:
serves as a carrier for long-chain fatty acids. The additional supply of L-carnitine can significantly improve the performance of the heart muscles.
Magnesium:
is responsible for the functioning of about 100 intracellular enzymes, mainly in striated muscle and heart muscle.
Lysine:
plays an important role as a buffer of lactic acid in the heart muscle.
