Almenland Organic Herb Hay

Hay is a vital component in the diet of rabbits, hares, guinea pigs and other herbivorous rodents and should be freely available to them around the clock. 

 The "Almenland Organic Herb Hay" comes from a particularly natural region of Eastern Styria, in the middle of a still intact natural landscape: countless alpine herbs grow at an altitude of up to 1,200 metres above sea level, which provide this hay with its incomparable taste and high-quality ingredients. Natural fertilisation allows many fragrant herbs to grow.  The farm has been managed organically since 1994 and is regularly inspected (ÖPUL environmental programme and Bio-Austria).

 
The high quality of the hay has been verified several times by tests.  19 out of a possible 20 points in the sensory evaluation speak for themselves. Odour, colour, structure and impurities are evaluated. Also the feed value number of 96 !!!! according to the hay evaluation  of the Raumberg-Gumpenstein Research Station also confirms the high quality and customer satisfaction.

Tip: Take the herbal hay in both hands and rub them together, this releases the essential oils, which is also noticeable in the taste.
