Design and functionality are the focus of United Pets.
The Italian label is known for its unusual accessories and functional designer pieces.
The company was founded in Milan in 1999 by the dog lovers Christina and Costantino.
They didn't like their dog Chico's toys at all and so the idea was born.
Together with the designers Giulio Icacchetti and Ilaria Gibertini, they mixed up the pet market with sometimes shrill and colourful accessories.
But that is precisely what makes United Pets so charming.
