This is exactly what PERRO Select Grainfree Ostrich & Potato was developed for - a high-quality, selective dry food for nutritionally sensitive dogs.
The gluten- and grain-free recipe is based on easily digestible ostrich meat as the only source of animal protein(monoprotein). Ostrich is considered to be particularly digestible, low in allergies and is usually very well tolerated even by sensitive dogs.
Potatoes are used as the sole source of carbohydrates - a gluten-free, easily digestible source of energy that is easy on the stomach and intestines.
This reduced composition with only a few ingredients makes PERRO Ostrich & Potato ideal for dogs with known food intolerances or as part of an exclusion diet. The deliberately selective recipe minimises the risk of allergic reactions and gives you the opportunity to feed your dog a targeted and gentle diet.
As sensitive dogs often suffer not only from intolerances but also from digestive problems , stabilising plant fibres have been added to the food. These support intestinal activity, promote balanced digestion and can help to improve nutrient absorption.
