Beef contains very high levels of iron and zinc and has a particularly high vitamin B12 content. Poultry is one of the more easily digestible and rather low-fat meats. Most cats, even the more finicky ones, will happily accept chicken as a source of meat. Chicken has a very high biological value and also contains iron and many vitamins.
Beef and poultry liver is a special delicacy for cats and contains plenty of natural vitamin A.
