Our Amaranth Mix is a natural and above all gluten-free supplementary food. The composition of gluten-free raw materials, such as potato, brown millet, banana in combination with puffed amaranth, gives you the opportunity to make an optimal food mix for dogs with allergies or problems in the gastrointestinal tract.
Amaranth is an ancient cultivated plant, it is one of the oldest useful plants of mankind. It is mainly the seeds of the plant that are used. The cereal-like grains were already a staple food for the Aztecs, Incas and Mayas. Amaranth has a much higher protein and mineral content than other grains traditionally cultivated worldwide. The proteins consist of many essential amino acids, and the calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc content is very high. Carbohydrates and dietary fibre are present in equal amounts. About 70 % of the fat contained is unsaturated fatty acids. The ingredients are not only present in large quantities, but combined in a very favourable ratio for nutrition.
PERRO Amaranth Mix can also be mixed into the daily feed ration. For meat-oriented feeding, mix the Amaranth-Mix into up to one third of the feed ration and add some water or salt-free meat broth. The PERRO Amaranth Mix is the optimal supplement to our 100% meat products PERRO Premium Pur Wet Food. Simply mix them with the PERRO Amaranth Mix. This way you get a specially balanced complete food!

PERRO flakes should be mixed with warm water about 1:1 before consumption. Then allow to swell for 5-10 min and then mix into the feed.
