NATURE hamster house

In the wild, hamsters hide in their dens, which consist of various chambers. In order to have a suitable hiding place in which the hamster can feel at home when it is kept in a cage, it needs hamster houses.

Its cave serves the wild hamster not only as a place of retreat, but also as a hiding place from predators. On top of that, hamsters that hibernate also retreat into their burrows.

To survive the winter unscathed, the animals create a pantry. In addition, the burrows have a sleeping place, a droppings chamber and - in the case of females - a nesting place where the babies are born and grow up.
