The wavy one takes less hair with it when stripping. It is mostly used for thick and dense coats.
The flat one takes more hair in one sweep and is therefore recommended for thin and easily stripped hair.

The trimming shoes are a wear item that should be renewed regularly.
The average service life is 3 operating hours.
