Insect protection:
Long-haired dog breeds in particular benefit greatly from the Sun & Bug Overall when they roam through tall grass or lushly overgrown terrain, as bugs attach themselves very quickly to the long coat. Unlike insecticides that are applied directly to the skin, the coverall protects your dog from pesky bugs from the outside.
Sun protection:
Effective sun protection is especially important for short-haired or hairless dog breeds when they are exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time (e.g. when walking on the beach or on long hikes).
The coverall can be washed in the washing machine without any problems, as described in the instructions. The integrated insect repellent remains in the fibres for about 100 washes. Salt and fresh water have no effect on the material of the Sun & Bug coverall. Sanitised is also used for insect protection in military equipment, hiking and hunting accessories such as sleeping bags and tents. This product is not suitable for cats!
