The Hurtta "Cooling Wrap" cooling waistcoat provides effective cooling for the dog on hot days.
The waistcoat mimics the body's natural cooling process. The cooling jacket only needs to be briefly immersed in cold water and then squeezed out. The evaporation of the water creates a pleasant coolness that keeps the dog's body temperature down for longer.
The inner layer of the cooling jacket consists of a high-performance microfibre that can absorb and store many times its weight in water. This means that the cooling effect lasts for a particularly long time. However, the fabric of the waistcoat still feels wet on the dog.
The Cooling Wrap is designed so that it does not cover the whole body, but only the chest. This is where large blood vessels and the lungs are located. Due to the circulation, the cooling effect spreads to the whole body.
Hurtta Cooling Wrap cooling waistcoat is easy to put on and can be adjusted well to the dog's body due to the elastic chest strap. The jacket is closed with a simple quick-release fastener.
For additional safety, there are highly visible reflectors in the front of the waistcoat.
