Just like proteins and carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, are vital sources of nutrients for every organism. Animals often receive some of the omega-6 fatty acids in their daily feed, but not the important omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are found particularly in oily fish, such as salmon.
HENNE PET FOOD Salmon oil is made from fresh salmon. Gentle cold pressing guarantees that the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are not destroyed.
The health-promoting effect of omega-3 fatty acids depends on the two fatty acids EPA and DHA , which are found in large quantities in salmon. These two fatty acids are only found in fish and no other natural product and are decisive for the extremely positive effect of HENNE PET FOOD salmon oil.
Both dogs ' and cats' daily meals can be supplemented with salmon oil.
The 250ml and 500ml bottles are supplied with a pump stop (red plastic) so that the salmon oil can also be perfectly portioned for cats. The 1 and 2.5 litre bottles are not supplied with a pump stop.
