The Open Range dog harness is a versatile harness that is ideal for hiking, mantrailing, dog trekking or simply for daily walks. With a variety of adjustment options (neck strap and chest straps), it can be optimally adapted to the dog's body. The Open Range hiking harness has a 2nd belly strap and a second attachment ring for the leash. This means it can be used as a safety harness, making it difficult for the dog to slip out of the harness. This is ideal for anxious dogs or on difficult trails to increase safety. A sturdy handle in the back allows the owner to quickly and easily bring the dog under control. The design of this touring harness takes the pressure off the dog's sensitive neck area even when under tension - perfect for tracking over a longer period of time (e.g. when tracking for hunting or animal and people searches)
The back and chest areas are padded with soft mesh for added comfort.
It is particularly easy to put on and take off, as it is equipped with four Fastex safety fasteners. The harness is simply pulled over the dog's head and the buckles on the left and right are closed. It is therefore not necessary to pass the leg through the harness.
Reflective webbing ensures optimum visibility and thus safety for both dog and owner.
This dog harness is suitable for almost all dog breeds and for many sporting activities due to the multiple adjustment options. However, in sports where the dog is in constant traction, a traction harness should be used.
