Dry food for diabetes mellitus
The new Farmina "Vet Life Natural Diet" line is a natural nutritional solution for the well-being of dogs. It is revolutionary as it is the first all-natural diet. The diet line has been created in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Nutrition of the University of Naples - with nature as the guiding principle of the Farmina philosophy.
Vet Life veterinary diet is adapted to the physiology of dogs and has the following characteristics:- Use of exclusively natural antioxidants (extracts containing tocopherol)
- no genetically modified ingredients
- No cereals in many varieties
- selected recipes with original cereals (spelt and oats)
- low glycaemic index - gentle regulation of blood sugar levels
- packed under a protective atmosphere
- Respect as a principle of our scientific research
The Farmina Vetlife Diabetic veterinary diet has been developed to regulate glucose levels in diabetes mellitus and to reduce excessive body weight.
This specific formula induces an optimal and gradual postprandial glycaemic response and modulates the release of insulin. The amount of sugar and starch is reduced to less than 2%. This makes the food ideal for dogs with diabetes mellitus.
The right ratio of soluble and insoluble fibres (dietary fibre) means that the feeling of satiety is achieved earlier. The low calorie density due to the low fat value supports the achievement or maintenance of the optimal body weight. A low glycaemic index is achieved through the use of spelt and oats.
All advantages at a glance

- adjusted fibre content
- low calorie
- low-fat
- low in starch and sugar

Adult
Depending on the breed, a dog is considered mature or adult at about 12 - 24 months. In general, it can be said that smaller breeds are physically mature earlier than larger ones. Exercise, mental workout and a food that is specifically tailored to the needs is the key to a happy dog life.
All body sizes
From Chihuahua to Great Dane, this product is suitable for all breeds and sizes.
