Grooming

Training

The first choice in grooming training!

Since 2008, the PERRO Dog Training Center, under the direction of Mrs. Evelyne Bischof, offers a professional and well-founded training for prospective, independent groomers. Another increasingly important field of activity is fur grooming in the veterinary field. The special requirements for this are competently addressed in the training. Theory modules now also available ONLINE!

What can participants expect?

Top instructors impart practice-oriented specialist knowledge in small groups of 1 to max. 3 persons. The small number of trainees ensures an intensive exchange and practical teaching of the learning content.

In 108 hours the participants learn, among other things, the correct grooming and blow-drying of the different coat types and lengths as well as the correct cutting and trimming in the areas of salon and exhibition. The training is FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) compliant for pedigree dogs.

What requirements do I need?

A basic understanding of working with dogs and an interest in working with dogs is a good basis to start the training. It also requires a certain physical constitution to be able to practice the profession.

In order to get a good and realistic insight into the work before the course starts, we offer and realistic insight into the work, we offer interested parties a taster day in a salon. After successful completion of the day, there is nothing standing in the way of the training!

An education with chances of success?

The large number of self-employed, successful dog groomers from our training program are proof that this training provides the perfect foundation for secure self-employment. A look at the statistics also underpins the future prospects of this profession:

According to statista.at, in 2010 there were about 612,000 dogs in Austria. With 837,000 in 2021 there were already around 225,000 animals more. And a trend reversal is currently not foreseeable.

What advantages do graduates have?

In addition to the enormously practical training, other plus points speak for the PERRO Training Center.

Participants of this training receive discounted purchase conditions for the hardware and equipment of their own salon. PERRO is the leading supplier in the field of salon equipment and also offers an extensive range of accessories with top brand products from the care sector. This results in an unbeatable overall price for your start into self-employment as a dog salon operator.

In addition, together with our experts and product specialists, we are of course always available to provide advice and support to graduates even after they have successfully completed their training.
