These delicious, 100% plant-based snacks in the form of vegetables can support the natural cleaning of teeth. Broccoli, pumpkin and carrot provide variety. The sweet potato and pea-based treats are gluten-free and free from artificial colours or preservatives. The low-fat recipe also allows you to reward a dog that tends to gain weight.

Unverträglichkeiten

Bei einer Unverträglichkeit - oder Intoleranz genannt - können bestimmte Lebensmittel nicht oder nur eingeschränkt im Darm verdaut oder abgebaut werden. Durchfall kann hier z.B. die Folge sein. Die Intoleranz wird fälschlicherweise oft mit einer Allergie verwechselt, die eine Reaktion des Immunsystems auf bestimmte Eiweiße darstellt und sich oft in Hautreaktionen wie z.B. Juckreiz oder Ohrenentzündung zeigt.

Ergänzungsfuttermittel

Ergänzungsfuttermittel sind laut Futtermittelverordnung Mischfutter mit mindestens zwei Komponenten. Sie werden zusätzlich zu einem Alleinfuttermittel verabreicht und weisen oft einen erhöhten Anteil an Vitaminen, Mineralstoffen oder Spurenelementen auf. Eine alleinige Fütterung wäre nicht bedarfsdeckend.
