Cat litter with health indicator

Cats are particularly adept at hiding illness. This often makes it very difficult for the owner to recognise early signs of illness. This special cat litter was developed in order to be able to recognise such signals in time.

If the litter turns orange, green, blue or red,  this can mean that your cat is ill. In this way, you can often take appropriate measures a few days before the cat shows symptoms of illness and present the cat to a vet, for example.

If the cat litter changes colour to the shades of yellow shown below, the cat is well according to the indicator test.

NOTE:

Please note, however, that this test procedure is not a substitute for regular check-ups with your veterinarian. It should NEVER be used as a substitute for veterinary care. If the cat litter does not change colour but you suspect your cat is ill, you should contact your vet as soon as possible. Only your vet can make a complete and correct diagnosis. This cat litter cannot detect every abnormality in the urine. 

Directions for use:

1. Once a month, after filling the litter box, spread the entire contents of this packet of HEALTH INDICATOR® evenly over the cat litter.

2. A short moment after the cat has used the litter tray, compare the colour of the urine with the colour chart below. The normal colour is light to dark yellow. If a different colour becomes visible, please contact your veterinarian (remove abnormally coloured filling).

3. After the test is completed, you can mix the HEALTH INDICATOR® litter (normal colours) with the other cat litter, there it will help to remove unpleasant odours.

Effect:
As soon as the urine comes into contact with the litter, it changes colour. An abnormal value can be a sign that there is a health problem.
