Bugbone is a delicious, baked dog biscuit based on insect protein. Thanks to its grain-free and gluten-free recipe and the absence of other animal protein sources, the snack is also ideal for dogs with intolerances.
With less than 160kcal per 100g, the dog biscuit is also very low in calories - so even dogs with a tendency to be overweight can be spoilt with this tasty snack. The consistency of the baked bone and the addition of cinnamon ensure natural dental care and fresh breath for your four-legged friend.
Bugbone consists of a range of selected and healthy ingredients:
Insects are not only highly digestible and perfect sources of protein, they are also sustainable and support our environment. Insects take up very little space in their production, produce significantly less CO2 than beef or poultry, for example, and also use significantly less water. Even dogs with allergies or intolerances to other protein sources generally have no problems with insect protein. It goes without saying that insects are also free from antibiotics and growth hormones.
Potato starch and potato flakes ensure the best digestibility and quickly available energy.
Buckwheat is one of the superfoods. It is rich in vitamin B6, copper, folic acid, manganese, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Its high fibre content supports regular digestion.
Linseed is a valuable source of essential fatty acids such as omega 3 & 6, which ensure a shiny and healthy coat. The fibre content has a positive effect on the dog's digestion.
Cinnamon has antimicrobial properties. This ensures fresh breath and helps to keep teeth clean and healthy. Cinnamon also provides a pleasant odour and taste.
Bugbone is suitable for all dogs from 2 months and is available in 3 flavours:
The smaller bones are suitable for dogs up to 25kg, the large bones for dogs over 25kg and the hearts (4cm diameter) are suitable for all dog sizes.
