The Beco silicone can lid is a practical lid for keeping dog or cat food fresh. It fits most 400 or 410 g standard tins with a diameter of approx. 7.5 cm and seals them airtight. Thanks to a practical tab, opening and closing the can is child's play - so the food stays fresh longer and does not lose its taste! In addition, unpleasant odours from the food in the fridge are minimised.
The lid is made of environmentally friendly and food-safe silicone. This makes it easy to clean - even in the dishwasher - and it does not contain any toxic substances that are released into the food.
What is so special about silicone?
Whether in the fridge or at room temperature, silicone easily withstands fluctuating temperatures without losing its shape. Silicone is still used by NASA for the seals of their space suits.
