ANIBIO surgical steel tick tweezers
ANIBIO's tick tweezers made of high-quality surgical steel - recommended by veterinarians.
The special shape of the tweezers' ends reduces the risk of infections caused by improperly and incompletely removed ticks.
If a tick has attached itself, it should be removed as soon as possible. But be careful! Do not crush the tick!
And under no circumstances smother it with oil or glue - as was recommended in the past. Such methods do more harm than good, as the tick releases pathogens into the wound in its death throes.
How do I remove ticks with the ANIBIO tick tweezers?
Carefully apply the ANIBIO tick tweezers. Do this just above the skin. Pull the tick out carefully and slowly. Take your time when doing this.
Important note: As the biting apparatus of a tick has many barbs and no thread, the tick must NOT be turned to the left or right when removing it!
Do not turn when removing, only pull!
If it is difficult to remove the tick completely or if symptoms of illness appear after removal (e.g. circular reddening of the skin around the bite site), a doctor should always be consulted.
